Waking up earlier than expected can have its rewards, in this case a beautiful sunrise to enjoy. This was a cooler than expected summer morning with just a bit of breeze that hadn’t been heated up by the sun yet. It was nice to be out as the prairie woke up around me. Spending some time photographing the light across the prairie and the summer wildflowers that were blooming was a great way to start the day. With the rest of the day ahead, this road had me thinking about the day ahead and how lucky I was to have another day.
