I had been photographing sunrise and noticed several leaves laying on the ice along the shoreline. It was a windy morning and the leaves were being blown around. This leaf moved just as I was trying to photograph it so I picked it up and carried it to a sheltered position where I hoped it would stay still long enough for me to photograph.
