Artist's Description

This panorama of the Big Basin area shows some of the unique hills and landscapes of the area. Big Basin was formed when a large sinkhole, a little over a mile across, collapsed. One this particular day the wind was blowing very had which made it difficult to photograph, but it also provided almost endless photographic opportunities as the clouds blowing across the sky constantly changed the light and shadows on the landscape.
