I really liked the view across the prairie here with the lone tree on the hilltop and the pattern of the clouds in the sky. What really grabbed my attention though was the texture of the plants in the foreground. I don’t often think about texture directly when I’m viewing a scene, but here it was hard not to notice. The vegetation in this scene looks soft and inviting and gives the photo a peaceful feeling I think.
